Stainless Steel Welding Electrode AWS E310-16(A402)

APPLICATIONS: Used for welding of the same type of heat-resistant stainless steel working under high temperature conditions, and also for welding of hardened chrome steels (such as Cr5Mo, Cr9Mo, Cr13, Cr28 and etc.) and dissimilar steels CHARACTERISTICS: E310-16 is a Cr26Ni21 stainless steel electrode for rutile skin pressure equipment. Both AC and DC can be used for all position welding. This electrode has good welding process performance, and the deposited metal has excellent oxidation resistance under 900-1100℃ high temperature conditions. ATTENTION: 1. Before welding, the electrode shall be baked at 300-350℃ for 1 hour and used as needed. 2. Remove rust, grease, moisture and other impurities before welding. 3. DC power supply is recommended, because the depth of current welding is relatively shallow, the current should not be too large, so as to avoid redness and cracking of the skin. 4. Reduce the heat input as much as possible, and the swing amplitude of the electrode should not be too large. 5. Preheat and keep the temperature between channels below 150℃. PACKAGING: 5kg/box, 4boxes/carton, 20kgs/carton, 50cartons/pallet. 21MT -26MT per 1X20" FCL. Tightness inspection of welds: For welds whose working pressure is less than 0.3MPa, kerosene can be used for sealing test. The test shall be carried out in accordance with the following provisions: 5.1.1.1 The temperature during the test shall not be lower than 5°C. Coat the outside of the test piece with white powder, and coat enough kerosene on the inside. Generally, after 15 to 30 minutes, if there are no black oil spots on the white powdered surface, the weld is considered to be flawless. On the contrary, it is necessary to remove the defective place and re-soldering, and then carry out the test. When using hydraulic pressure to test the tightness of the container, it should be carried out in accordance with the following regulations: The test pressure should rise slowly to not less than 1.5 times the working pressure. When the weldment reaches the test pressure, the pressure must be maintained for 5 minutes. If leakage or dampness is found on the weld, the defective part must be marked, removed, re-welded, and then tested. During the pressure test of the workpiece, it is not allowed to repair the weld; and when the workpiece is under test pressure, it is not allowed to strike the weld. Mechanical performance test of welds: The test sampling shall be taken from the samples with the same material and process parameters of the welded parts. The type and size of the performance test should comply with the relevant standards of GB/T 2649~2653.
